Danza Huehuecoyotl
Among the delegations participating at the First Continental Encounter of Indigenous Nations, Pueblos and Organizations that took place in Quito, Ecuador (1990) were the founding families of the Danza Azteca Huehuecoyotl. Today, the traditional circle of families of the Huehuecoyotzin continue as a constellation of families bringing forth the teachings and practice the Mexicayotl, a contemporary expression of the ancestral way of life of the Nican Tlacah, the Indigenous Peoples of Anahuac, the Great Turtle Island Abya Yala, Cemanahuac.
